Frequently asked
Which standard does this score against?
The PFRA scoring charts effective 1 March 2026, as published by the Air Force Personnel Center. The app shows the standard it is using on the score screen so you can confirm it at a glance. If AFPC publishes a revision, the app is updated to match.
Why is altitude correction not applied?
AFMAN 36-2905 Attachment 3 prints the altitude correction tables but never states how to apply them. It does not say whether the run correction is subtracted from your time or added to the standard, and it does not say whether “Add 1 Shuttle” credits you or raises the requirement.
Guessing wrong would turn a pass into a fail for anyone testing above about 5,250 feet, so the app does not guess. It tells you plainly that the correction is not applied rather than showing a number that might be wrong.
Why can't it score me if I'm exempt from a component?
For the same reason. AFMAN 36-2905 §3.7.3 says an exempt member's composite is calculated “in accordance with paragraph 3.6.2”, and §3.6.2 contains no arithmetic — the cross-reference does not resolve in the manual itself.
The app scores every component you did complete and tells you honestly that it cannot produce a composite, rather than inventing one. Your Fitness Assessment Cell or myFitness is the authority there.
Do I have to pay to score an alternate event?
No. Every event and every alternate is free: the 2-mile run, the 20-meter HAMR, the 2.0 kilometre walk, push-ups, hand-release push-ups, sit-ups, cross-leg reverse crunches and the forearm plank. If you are on a medical profile, your testing path is never behind a paywall.
What does the paid unlock include?
Saved history and your trend over time, so today's number sits next to the last one instead of standing on its own. It is a single one-time purchase. There is no subscription and no account.
Scoring itself is free and always will be. The unlock buys accumulation, never a correct number.
I bought it and it is asking me to pay again
Tap Restore Purchases on the paywall or in Settings. The unlock is tied to your Apple Account, so it covers every device you sign in with, including a new phone after a PCS.
Does it work without a signal?
Yes, completely. The scoring charts are inside the app and it makes no network requests.
Is my data sent anywhere?
No. See the privacy policy. The app has no networking code.
Reporting a scoring error
Scoring accuracy is the whole point of this app, so a suspected error is the highest-priority kind of report. Email the details above and it will be checked against the published AFPC charts directly.
